The MTS - SP 100 is an elegantly crafted smartphone with an appealing design. This touchscreen phone runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and has an 600 Mhz ARM11 processer loaded on to it. This MTS mobile phone also has 256 MB RAM under its hood. 

 

The MTS - SP 100, popularly known as the Livewire, has an impressive 2.8-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This mobile phone is enabled with a powerful voice search that that lets you find all the information you are looking for without typing. The Livewire from MTS has a 3 megapixel camera with 5x zoom. You can also record videos at 25 fps with this mobile phone.

Design

The Livewire from MTS is elegant to look at and efficient in its functionality. This bar phone has dimensions of 57.5 x 43.5 mm and fits comfortably in your hands. The front of the phone has dedicated home, back and menu keys that facilitate easy navigation.
This MTS Livewire phone also possesses volume keys to monitor the volume levels on your phone. You can listen to audio by connecting a headset to the 3.5 mm audio jack or through the loudspeaker on this phone. The phone also has an accelerometer and motion sensor loaded on to it.

Storage and Battery

A 1000 mAh battery powers the MTS Livewire smartphone which gives you a talk time of up to 3 hours and a standby time of up to 200 hours. The MTS - SP 100 has a 512 MB ROM. The memory on this phone is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD, microSDHC cards.

Connectivity and Features

The MTS Livewire handset supports Wi-Fi platform with which you can connect to the Internet. The Internet can accessed with speeds of Up to 3.1 Mbps on this phone. An Email client pre-loaded on the phone lets you access your mails instantly and keeps you in touch with your professional and personal life. The MTS - SP 100 is enabled with Gmail, Gtalk, Instant Messenger and YouTube to entertain you and keep you connected with friends at all times. This handset can be used as a Wi-Fi router to access the Internet on up to 5 internet devices simultaneously.

You can connect to other devices through Bluetooth and a micro USB port present on the handset. The MTS TV feature lets you watch TV directly on your smartphone. This Android phone has access to the Android Market from where you can download all the applications you need on to your MTS mobile phone. The MTS CDMA Livewire phone is locked to the MTS network and is available only in Karnataka and Maharashtra. You can use your existing MTS SIM card or even retain your old number and migrate to the MTS network through the MNP process.
