The Philips GoGear MP3 player is a funky looking portable media player that boasts of a long battery life. The music player is packed with several breakthrough features that will enhance the whole music listening experience. The GoGear RaGa has a compact build with dimensions of 49.9 x 43.4 x 12.9 mm and weighs just 24 g. The petite music player is durable and has a smooth finish for your comfort and handling.

The one inch screen of the MP3 player has full color LCD display with backlight that makes navigating through the menu an enjoyable affair. Below the screen, is a thin panel that comprises of the menu and back buttons in a horizontal layout. On the lower half of the GoGear RaGa is the play/pause button for an easy usage.

Battery and Storage

The Philips music player is powered by a Lithium-Polymer battery of 220 mAh capacity. You can listen to continuous music for up to 22 hours after one full charge of the battery. The battery can be charged either by an adapter or through connecting to a PC. The music player's battery also supports 8 hours of radio listening.

For situations when you forget to charge your GoGear RaGa and are in hurry, you can plug your GoGear for just 5 minutes that will give you playback time of 90 minutes. This Fast Charge feature in the GoGear Raga lets your music going everytime.

The Philips MP3 player ships to you with a built-in memory capacity of 4 GB. The GoGear RaGa can store up to 900 song tracks, giving you immense number of choices and genre to fill your music player with.

Functions

This Philips GoGear device supports multiple audio formats that include MP3, WAV, WMA, APE including the high quality Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC). To ensure there is minimal distortion, the RaGa MP3 player features 84 dB of signal to noise ratio and 45 dB of channel separation. 

 The GoGear RaGa comes with 6 preset equalizer settings - Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Techno, and Classical - that ensure genre optimized audio enhancement. The MP3 player also features a built-in FM Radio with RDS support. The radio enables you to store a desired FM channel as a preset for quick access. You can store 20 numbers of channels as preset and rid yourself of manual tuning frequencies each time. 

The connectivity options available in this music player include a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB 2.0 port. The GoGear RaGa is compatible with Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system run PCs and laptops.
